Sourdough Bread-baking Workshop

Hone your bread-baking skills by attending Eva’s Traditional Bread workshops. Eva’s workshops are a great introduction to creating your own sourdough culture/starter. Nothing beats the flavor and chewy texture of freshly baked sourdough bread. The aroma and taste of a warm, right-out-of-the-oven loaf are incomparable!

By attending Eva’s Traditional Bread Workshop you can look forward to a fun, hands-on session in which you’ll learn everything you ever wanted to know about using and maintaining a wild-yeast, naturally- fermented sourdough starter.

She will share with you secrets for creating a well-structured loaf with beautiful crust and crumb.

Create your very own whole-grain sourdough loaf. Practice scaling and mixing ingredients. Develop dough strength through a series of stretches and folds & learn the art of shaping, and scoring.

At the end of class enjoy your creation with tasty accompaniments!

Everyone will go home with a beautifully scored, sourdough bread loaf, fresh out of the oven, plus your own sourdough starter!

Engage with this fascinating ancient craft, and make great sourdough bread as often as you like at home for yourself, your family, and your friends.

There is more to the bread-making process than simply making a nice healthy loaf. This process is greatly empowering and intellectually satisfying. The magic of flour, water, salt and fermentation—activated by two hands and sophisticated observation skills—can only be experienced.

If you’ve ever dreamt of pulling fragrant and crusty naturally-leavened bread from your home oven, then this class is for you!
